Area golfers advance to sectionals
WEST LAFAYETTE – The Ohio Division II Sectional was held Sept. 23 at River Greens Golf Course.
The top four teams and top four individuals not on qualifying teams advance to the Division II District at Eagle Sticks Golf Course in South Zanesville on Monday, Sept. 30.
Team scores were: 1. Garaway – 303; 2. John Glenn – 321; 3. Carrollton – 326; 4. Sandy Valley – 329; 5. Ridgewood – 355; 6. Claymont – 357; 7. Indian Valley – 361; 8. Philo – 369; 9. Maysville – 380; 10. Meadowbrook (4-20 duals; 33-112 overall) – 381; 11. Minerva – 383; 12. Buckeye Trial [no score; three players]; 12. Coshocton [no score; two players]
Individuals advancing to districts are: Cameron Henry (Claymont) – 71; Carson Coffman (Coshocton) – 78; Gage Gamertsfelder (Coshocton) – 78; and Trey Stoffer (Ridgewood) – 78.
