Arrests made in connection to recent burglaries

COSHOCTON – On May 9, at approximately 6:19 p.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 200 block of North 15th Street in the city of Coshocton. Three adults, two males and one female, were taken into custody without incident. This warrant is part of a large, multi-county investigation into recent burglaries.

On May 11, Sara A. Reber, 29 years old and from the Coshocton area, was charged with receiving stolen property, a felony of the fourth degree. Brian J. Hunt II, 31 years old and from the Coshocton area, and Thomas O. Phelps, 45 years old and from the Newcomerstown area, were both charged with having weapons under disability, a felony of the third degree. Additional charges are anticipated after the case has been reviewed by Coshocton County Prosecutor Jason Given.

If anyone has any information or might have seen these individuals in their neighborhoods recently, possibly driving a dark in color BMW, they are urged to contact the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office at 740-622-2411.

Assisting the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office with this ongoing investigation is the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office and Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
