Auditions announced for ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’

Open auditions for the upcoming Footlight Players’ production of “To Kill a Mockingbird,” will be held on Sunday, May 15, at 6 p.m. at the Triple Locks Theater.  The director is Susan Metz Guthrie.

This stage version of “To Kill a Mockingbird” is based upon the Pulitzer Prize winning novel of the same title written by Harper Lee.

There are parts available for African American and Caucasian  adults of all ages and for three Caucasian children. A small part is also available as a singing role for an African American female. Both experienced and novice actors and actresses are welcome and encouraged to audition.

The performance dates are scheduled for the first three weekends in September 2022.
