Auditions scheduled for ‘Play On’
COSHOCTON – The Coshocton Footlight Players announce auditions for the upcoming comedy, “Play On.”
This is the hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty playwright who keeps revising the script. As the rehearsal and actual performance progress, anything that can go wrong does go wrong.
This show is directed by Kathy Reid, co-directed by Mickie Galajda, and produced by Carol Remington.
Auditions will be held Sunday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. and Monday, Jan. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Triple Locks Theater. There are parts for 10 actors from early 20s and up. Apparent age is more important than actual age.
“Play On” will open March 6, 2020, and run for three weekends, including a matinee on March 15.
