Beacon’s Buzz Weekly lands at Clary Gardens

COSHOCTON – The Beacon’s Buzz Weekly has landed at Clary Gardens for the scarecrow trail. Be sure to check out all the scarecrows during the month of October. This year, with the help of the Coshocton Visitor’s Bureau, the trail has expanded into a city-wide Scarecrow Town. Visit www.scarecrowtown.com for a map of where to find all of the scarecrows and information on how to vote for your favorites. Categories are: Traditional, creepy, pop culture, and people’s choice. Winners will be announced at the Scarecrow Town Festival being planned for Saturday, Oct. 26 in downtown Coshocton.

I started my journalism career in 2002 with a daily newspaper chain. After various stops with them, I am happy to be back home! I graduated from Coshocton High School in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2002 from Walsh University. I also earned several awards while working for daily papers, including being honored by Coshocton County’s veterans for the stories I wrote about them.
