Benny D. Jennings
COSHOCTON – Benny D. Jennings, 75, of Coshocton passed away at his home on Thursday June 14, 2018 with his family by his side. Benny was born in Coshocton on December 8, 1942 to the late Kenneth and Audrey (Mitchell) Jennings.
He retired from Clow Water Systems and was a member of United Steel Workers Local Union #7014. Benny was also a member of CCGOSC and was a first family, pioneer, civil and century war family. He was Past Master of the Wakatomika Masonic Lodge, enjoyed playing golf, fishing, hunting mushrooms, making homemade wine, serving BBQ chicken for his family, music, telling jokes and laughing with his family and friends. Benny also loved his morning coffee with the guys.
Benny is survived by his devoted wife Jenifer “Kitty” (Jones) Jennnings whom he married on January 24, 1964; children Ken (Amy) Jennings and Kimmy Jennings both of Coshocton; grandson Tucker Jennings of Coshocton; sister Nancy Seward of Coshocton; special friend Kent Arnold; many other family and friends; and he loved his devoted canine companion Allie.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his in laws Dick and Pauline Jones; brother in law Jim Seward.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday June 17, 2018 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday. A Masonic Service will start at the end of the calling hours on Sunday at 5:00 PM. Funeral services for Benny will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Gross officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
