Berry PictureBernard “Bernie” C. Berry, 84, of West Lafayette passed away October 31, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.

USFlagSunlightHC1311_X_300_C_YHe was born in Guernsey County, Ohio, August 10, 1930, to the late Chester C. and Dorothy (Foreman) Berry.

Bernie served in the US Army Corp of Engineers during the Korean War and retired from Gencorp in Newcomerstown. He loved fishing and was a master of all trades.

Bernie is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret (Kreider) Berry; children Michael (Brenda) of West Lafayette, Darlene (Dennis) Anderson of Bakersville, Mark (Tina) of Pataskala, Mitchell (Billie) of Coshocton; grandchildren Keith Berry, Marissa Mullett, Theresa Drummond, Rebekah Berry, TJ Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Amanda McMichael, Travis Berry, Trevor Berry, William Berry, Danielle Cognion, and Kevin Berry; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings Junior C. Berry, Kathryn Burch, and Austin (Carl) Berry.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home 639 Main St., Coshocton, Tuesday, November 4, 2014, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Evangelist Jason Hardin officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
