Bernice M. Dreher

COSHOCTON – Bernice M. Dreher, 91, of Coshocton passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017.  She was born in Clark on February 7, 1926 to the late Roy and Nellie (Bechtol) Patterson.

Bernice and her late husband Brice “Junior” were married on August 22, 1942 and were married for 72 years; Brice passed away on November 4, 2014.

She was an active 4-H Advisor, enjoyed card club, sewing and beading jewelry.  Brice and Bernice loved traveling together, gardening, mowing and taking excellent care of their family farm throughout their life together.

Bernice is survived by her daughter Cindy Farmer of Fresno; daughter-in-law Vickie Dreher of Fresno; grandchildren, Ted (Carol) Farmer of Mountain Home, ID, Len (Audrey) Farmer of Lucedale, MS, Alan (Paula) Farmer of Canton, Matt (Sarah) Farmer of Navarre and Brian (Mandy) Farmer of Coshocton, Nate (Amy) Dreher, Rusty (Jade) Dreher and Wilson (Heather) Dreher all of Coshocton; 35 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren; brothers Dean Patterson of Coshocton, Herbert (Norita) Patterson of Smithville and Ron (Helen) Patterson of Clark; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her sons Richard and Chris Dreher; son-in-law Larry Farmer; sister Marjorie Patterson; brothers Alfred and Donavan Patterson; sisters-in-law Ruth , Lucille and Betty Patterson.

Brice “Junior is survived by his sisters Almena Hodges of Columbus, Maxine (Pete) Patterson of Delaware and Bill (Donna) Dreher of Pataskala.  Junior is preceded in death by his parents Brice J. and Verna Dreher; sister Marjorie Milligan; brother Eugene Dreher; and brother-in-law Ray Hodges

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday November 12, 2017 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM where funeral services will begin for Brice and Bernice at 3:00 PM with Pastor Dairel Kaiser officiating.  Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will also be performing military honors for Brice before the funeral services.

Private burial will take place at a later date in South Lawn Cemetery.  They were together for 72 years and will continue on for eternity, together.
