Betty C. Titus

Betty C. Titus, 86, of Coshocton passed away at Signature Healthcare of Coshocton on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022.

Betty was born in Circleville, Ohio on March 2, 1935, to the late Carl and Catherine (Peters) Conrad.  She retired from Coshocton County Regional Medical Center after working as a nurse’s assistant and the dietary department.  Betty also worked at Annin Flag Company of ten years.

Betty was one of the first EMT’s in Coshocton County.  She also was the State Secretary for REACT for ten years, was involved with Relay For Life, Eastern Star, Crisis Hotline Volunteer, attended the Upper Room Church in Coshocton and enjoyed working the concession stand for the Coshocton Football Boosters.

She is survived by her daughters Loretta Kohman of West Lafayette and Theresa Acord of Coshocton; step daughter Janice (Carl) Keaton of Coshocton; one brother Larry Conrad of Circleville; daughter in law Cheryl Hare of Coshocton; seven grandchildren Tabitha (Richard) Saylor, Jerry Kohman, Jessica (Kevin) Wilson, Richard (Billi) Acord, Jeanie Griffin, Brent (Shaylyn Dickerson) Hare and Travis (Kelsey Williamson) Hare; seven step grandchildren; numerous great and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband George M. Hare Sr. who passed away in 2010; second husband Arthur Titus who passed away in 2011; a son George Hare; brothers Cecile, Carter, Carl and Claude Conrad; sons in law Jerry Kohman and Rick Accord; one great-great grandson; half-sister Marie Jackson and half-brother Bud Conrad.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday February 1, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Funeral services for Betty will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Stan Braxton officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.
