Betty Everhart Picture for obitBetty J. Everhart, 82, of West Lafayette passed away at Lafayette Pointe Nursing Home on Thursday May 21, 2015. Betty was born in Coshocton County on June 24, 1932 to the late John and Mary (Smith) Freetage. She graduated from West Lafayette High School and was a homemaker throughout her life. She loved music, playing piano, listening to her boys sing and spending time with her family and friends. Betty is survived by her two sons Ronnie (Sheri) Everhart of West Lafayette and Mark (Jan) Everhart of Coshocton; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; daughter in law Shelly Everhart of West Lafayette; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Victor Everhart who she married December 20, 1952, Victor passed away on November 29, 2009; a son Todd Everhart; six brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday May 26, 2015 from 11:00 AM – 1: 00 PM where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Minister Jim McKeever officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice”, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
