Betty Maxine (Fairall) Mosholder-Shade

MT. VERNON – Betty Maxine (Fairall) Mosholder-Shade, 92, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Ohio Eastern Star Home, where she was a resident.

She was born March 9, 1926 in Frazeysburg to the late Gilbert and Lola Grace (Chapman) Fairall. She was a member of Moose Lodge #631 of Cambridge, V.F.W. Post #2901 of Cambridge, and O.E.S. Chapter 157.

Betty was the former Secretary of the Cambridge Bowling Association, and coordinator of the square dances at the Cambridge Senior Center for over twenty years.

Surviving family includes two sons, Dick (Terri) Mosholder of Cambridge, and Dale (Ginny) Mosholder of Heath; five grandchildren, Rick (Anne) Mosholder of N. Canton, Lori (Rick) Rominger of Cambridge, Amy (Doug) Phillips of Chesnee, SC; Toby Mosholder of Walhonding, and Melanie Romine of Martinsville; ten great-grandchildren to complete the family circle, Caroline, Thomas, Dylan, Josie, Jonathan, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Tyler,  Kayla, and Vincent; and also two step-daughters, Debra McWire and Luanne Chuhaloff.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert R. Mosholder (1979), and Wilbur Shade (1991).

A graveside service will be held at New Castle Cemetery on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm. The Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
