Beverly Joan Palmer

Beverly Joan Palmer, age 86, of Coshocton and Houston, TX, passed away on November 15, 2023. She was born on March 15, 1937, in Connecticut, to the late William and Edith Milbrandt.

Beverly is survived by her two children, Karen Simpson and Randall Palmer; her six grandchildren, Eve, Sarah, Heather, Danny, Alexandra, and Suzie; and her six great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard Palmer.

Throughout Beverly’s adult life, she was a talented interior designer, owning her own interior design company in Houston, TX. She was also involved in many prestigious organizations, including Coshocton Junior Woman’s, the Junior League of Houston and Dallas, TX, and the Arthritis Association in Houston, TX. Beverly enjoyed doing anything creative and was gifted in painting, cooking, and decorating. Religion played a big part in Beverly’s life; she was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Newark, OH, before she passed away.

On June 19, 1955, she married Richard Palmer at the age of 19 after meeting him at church. On January 5, 1956, and January 14, 1960, she welcomed her two amazing children, who were the most important part of her life.

Beverly was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; she would do

anything for her family. Beverly was an avid traveler, traveling to 50+ countries and living in multiple cities all over the world, including Saudi Arabia. Beverly was great at conversing about anything with anybody, and she could always light up a room. She will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who knew her.

All services will be held in Houston, TX. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
