Black Bears host invitational

WARSAW – Seventeen high schools including Coshocton, Ridgewood and River View, competed Oct. 19, at the River View Black Bear Marching Band Invitational.

In Class B, Ridgewood placed first and earned the most outstanding percussion award and Coshocton placed fifth. River View and Ridgewood also received one ratings which give them the opportunity to perform at the state marching band competition.

Grand champion of the invitational was Hilliard Darby High School. The school also earned most outstanding auxiliary, percussion and music regardless of class.

I graduated from Coshocton High School in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2002 from Walsh University.
