Bobby J Lane Picture for PaperCOSHOCTON – Bobby Joe Lane, age 77, of Coshocton passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017.
Bobby Joe was born in Otto, West Virginia on January 29, 1939 to the late Denver Odell Lane and Ermal Marie Adkins Lane.  He moved to Pearl, Ohio from Akron in 1970. He worked on his sisters’ farms, Belden Brick and at Coshocton Recycling until he retired. Bobby’s favorite pastimes were spending time outdoors, fishing, reminiscing and playing guitar.
Bobby is survived by his sisters Nellie Marie (Wendell) Archer of Nashville, TN; Carol Sue Brown and  Mary Ann (Wimpy) Vinson of Akron; and brothers Raymond Odell Lane of Coshocton and Herbert Lane of Akron; his nephews/nieces John D. (Jacinda) Pahoundis II , Julius, James D., Jeffrey Pahoundis Sr. and Joseph Pahoundis Sr. of Coshocton County; Debbie (Leonard) Beamer of Coshocton, Cynthia (Fred) Rodgers of Dresden, Mary (Jeff) Laird and Teresa (Kelly) Barker;  Tonya Moore, Tammy Wilhite, Robert and Jackie E. Livengood Jr.; Rocky Lane, Tina Kosa, Kelly Johnson, Christine Kelly, Willie, Lester and Allen Vinson Jr. , Francis, Johnny, Owen and Aaron Lane, Chuck Brown, Jennifer Carillion, Jodi Ashlock (TX) , Brian Archer(Mississippi), Doug Archer (Fla) and Dr. Clark E. Archer (TN), Joshua, Theresa, Norval Lane Jr. and their siblings and numerous great nieces/great nephews including Jebb McKee, Herbie Dale Turner, Christina Howell,  Jocaesta, Jullianna, Jarrett and John “Daniel”  Pahoundis III, Jaydee, Joseph Pahoundis Jr., Betty Lou Cook Pahoundis, Stephanie, Emily and Samantha Rodgers, Brett and Chance Meckley, Brian, Tyler and Derek Anderson, Desiree and Tyson Barker and Jeffrey Pahoundis Jr. and other relatives including Trista, Haley and Paitin Pahoundis, Zane Turner, Ralph Howell and friends including Ramona King and Randy Emig, Jack, John, Delores and many former co-workers.
Along with his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by a twin sister Betty Lou Pahoundis, sisters Maysel Parrillo and Joanne Livengood; brothers Ollen, Norval Lane Sr., and Clifford Lane, Sr.; nieces Evelyn “Ebbie” Parrillo and Christine Howell, Nora Wells and Elizabeth Joanne Pahoundis Meckley; nephews Carl Parrillo Jr., Clifford Lane Jr., Herbie Lane Jr. and Jerry Pahoundis, and great-great nephew Daniel Ray Pahoundis.
Friends may call at the Anchor of Coshocton Church, 78 W. Pine St., Coshocton on Thursday January 26, 2017 from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM with Rev. Wilbur White officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakewood Cemetery in Akron at 3:00 PM with Pastor Fred Webb officiating.
