Bradley Eugene Conrad

Bradley Eugene Conrad, 68, of West Lafayette, passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020.

He was born in Coshocton County on Oct. 27, 1953 to the late Robert Eugene and Mildred Alice (Alloway) Conrad.

After graduating high school, Brad joined the United States Navy serving his country for two years before being honorably discharged. He then began his career at the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, first in dispatch, then as a deputy for 29 years before retiring in 2008.

Brad was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed yearly family fishing trips to Canada. He liked to go shooting at the gun range and stayed qualified up until his death; but most importantly, Brad loved spending time with his family. He will be truly missed by all those that knew him.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Robert Conrad and granddaughter, Arianna Peyton Stevens both of Coshocton County; his brother, Stuart (Mary Jane) Conrad of Hilliard; sister, Nancy (Richard) McIntire of Zanesville, nephews, Steven Taylor of Brooklyn, IN and Christopher Conrad of Lewis Center, OH; niece, Danielle Taylor of Zanesville; great-nieces, Kylie and Kaydence Taylor of Brooklyn, IN, Kaylynn Thompson of Brooklyn, IN and Riley Conrad of Lewis Center, OH.

Along with his parents, Brad is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Roberta Conrad.

Per Brad’s wishes, a cremation will take place with a Celebration of Life being held at a later date. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
