Brenda Sue Hogue
Brenda Sue Hogue, 62, of Coshocton passed away Sunday February 18, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Brenda was born in Bakersville on June 21, 1961, to the late Dale A. Wilson and Wanda K. (Randles) Karns.
She graduated from Ridgewood High School class of 1979. Brenda also graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1993 from MATC for Medical Assisting, again from Zane State in 1999 for Physical Therapy Assisting, and later in 2005 from Muskingum University with her BA in Special Education and finally, she earned her master’s degree in education from Kent State University. Brenda loved working with children with disabilities and was a thirteen-year employee at Ida Sue School of Wooster, Ohio. Brenda was active in the community as a 55-year Grange member, and dedicated member of the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle Church where she taught Sunday school and VBS, she loved all the children of the church.
Brenda is survived by her children Kevin Hogue of Coshocton, Kendra Hogue of Indianapolis, IN, and Kyle Hogue of Coshocton; her beloved six-grandchildren, David, Christian, Rubianna, Brentlee, Kenlee, and Aiden; one sister Debra K. Chapman of Newcomerstown and brother Dale Wilson Jr. of New Philadelphia.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio on Sunday February 25, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Funeral services for Brenda will be at the funeral home on Monday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Amery Brenly officiating. Interment will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery.
