WARSAW – Brian Alan Corbett, 56, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 7, 1961 in Columbus to the late Richard E. and Dorothy I. (Reichman) Corbett. He was a 1979 graduate of Coshocton High School, and he received his Bachelors degree from the University of Akron. He was a corporate account executive for Holland Transportation, and a member of the AmVets and the Army-Navy in Coshocton.

Brian enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending nights by the river enjoying nature and time spent with family. He was an avid Ohio St. Buckeyes fan, and he had a wonderful sense of humor, along with many friends. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 27 years, Tonya (Slaughter) Corbett of Warsaw, whom he married June 15, 1991; two sons, Kyle and Corey Corbett; a brother, Brad (Teresa) Corbett of Westerville; two sisters, Susan (Shawn) Martin of Kent, and Lori Licini of Salinas, CA; nieces and nephews, Noah & Emma Corbett, Brandon (Nicki) Slaughter, and Shane & Wren Howard; his step-mother, Judy Corbett of Coshocton; father-in-law & mother-in-law, John & Linda Slaughter of Warsaw; brother-in-law, John (Rhonda) Slaughter of Warsaw; sister-in-law, Dawnetta Hirsch of Canton; and cousins, Pam & Phil Hicks of Mansfield, and Patti Wasowicz of Maricopa, AZ.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, June 5th from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
