Bridal Show a success

| February 24, 2014

COSHOCTON – The third annual Bridal Show was a success as dozens of brides and their bridesmaids visited the 22 vendors that were set up at Coshocton Village Inn and Suites and sampled food from caterers and bakeries.

“It’s been a good day,” said John Larson, coordinator of the event. “There’s a lot of brides-to-be getting ready to get married and getting ideas today. Coshocton is very blessed to have a variety of vendors for brides.”

One such vendor at the show was Dr. Erwin of Family Eye Care. They were offering colored contact lenses to potential brides.

“A lot of brides like them for their wedding day,” said Tessie Roof. “They want that pop of color in their eyes for the photos, and they really pop.”

According to Larson, the Bridal Show averaged 250 people.

“This has been an exceptional show for being so late in the season and on a Sunday,” said Ed Kiefer of Kiefer’s Florist. “The response has been terrific. I’ve had a good time talking to the brides. It’s nice talking to them at bridal shows because you can talk more informally and exchange ideas.”

Every bride was encouraged to visit each vendor for a chance to win a door prize at the end of the show.
