| September 10, 2012

Seventy-five cakes were entered in this year’s Business and Professional Women Cake Auction, which was held Sept. 7, at the Civic Center.

Before the auction the public voted on most unusual and people’s choice. Winners of most unusual were: Dylan Harsh – first; the Coshocton County Career Center – second; and employees of the Coshocton County Veterans Service Office and Commission – third. The people’s choice awards went to: Employees of the Coshocton County Veterans Service Office and Commission – first; the Coshocton County Career Center – second; and the Coshocton Collision Center – third.

Proceeds from the cake auction help BPW raise funds for its Working Woman’s Scholarships, donations to Dollar for Scholars, co-sponsoring the meet the candidates’ night and much more.

Auctioneers for the evening were Mary Mason and Sheri Fortune from Agents Realty and Auction Service.
