Carnival fundraiser to benefit courthouse lighting project

| November 9, 2023

A Christmas Carnival will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to benefit the courthouse illumination project. Santa’s carnival will be held in the Coshocton Community Room at 637 Chestnut St.

Each ticket is $20 and includes donuts and hot chocolate, an ornament make and take, cookie decorating, reindeer feed make and take, photos with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and an appearance from the Grinch.

Mary Beck, administrator with the Coshocton County Commissioners, said the county commissioners are partnering with the Coshocton Chamber of Commerce for all the fundraising projects for the courthouse illumination project. “Santa’s Christmas Carnival is the first fundraising event for the project. It is being sponsored by the Coshocton Regional Medical Center and thanks to them, 100% of the proceeds for the carnival will go toward the courthouse illumination project.”

The number of tickets is limited. The link to purchase tickets can be found on the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page or on their website under the events tab. For more information, call the chamber of commerce at 740-622-5411.
