Carol Elaine Paisley
Carol Elaine Paisley, age 84, of Hilliard, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020. She was born on June 27, 1936 in Coshocton to the late Clarence W. and Esther A. (Hivnor) Lockard.
Elaine attended Coshocton schools and graduated from Coshocton High School in 1954. She then graduated from Ohio University in 1959. Elaine taught special education in Northridge Schools, Montgomery County, prior to starting a family. She lived in Dayton, Cincinnati, and southern New York prior to returning to Columbus, Ohio and residing in Hilliard for more than 25 years.
During her years of residence in Upper Arlington, Elaine worked in Girl Scouting and preschool where she especially enjoyed working with the three and four year olds.
Elaine is survived by her three children, Robert (Kimberley) Paisley of Hilliard, Thomas (Amanda) Paisley of Hilliard and Nan (Eric) Brunskill of Hamilton; four grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Kay Paisley Callander of Pataskala.
Along with her parents, Elaine is preceded in death by her son, David Paisley and sister, Patricia Vogt.
Per Elaine’s wishes, a cremation will take place. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
