Carrie Leigh Bookless Gaskill
Carrie Leigh Bookless Gaskill passed away on October 19, 2022 at her home in Hamlet, North Carolina. She was 50 years old. Carrie was the daughter of Carol (Mowery) Bookless and Danny and Christy (Waite) Bookless. She was a graduate of River View High School and later attended COTC for business classes. After moving to NC, she attended Richmond County Community College receiving her degree in Graphic Arts. She also obtained her certification as a real estate agent. While living in Coshocton, she worked at Taco Stop, Buehler’s and Pretty Products.
Surviving are her husband of 28 years, Chris Gaskill, and her sons, Evan Gaskill of Charlotte, NC and Wayne Gaskill of Hamlet, NC, Step-Daughter Celeste (Young) Zimmer and step-grandchildren Remington, Phoenix and Zinley Zimmer of Coshocton, her brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Tia (Matthews) Bookless, nieces, Shiana, Cassidi and Cortney Bookless, Step Father-in-law and Step Mother-in-law Glenn and Marion Gaskill of WV, Aunts and Uncles, Lois (Mowery) King, JoAnn (Mowery) Hennen, Walter and Lisa (Bradford) Mowery, George and Janet (Perkins)Bookless, Bernard and Linda (Vance) Bookless, Dave and Cindy (Bookless) Bachman, and several cousins.
Predeceasing her are her grandparents, Robert and June (Conner) Mowery and George and Betty (Powelson) Bookless, Uncle Dale King, Cousin Kyle Bookless, Aunt Brenda Mowery
Carrie loved to refinish furniture and loved animals. A memorial service was held at her home October 29th with close family where a tree was planted in her memory.
