Catherine Irene (Fitzgerald) Miller, 77, formerly of Wooster, died Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 5, 1945 in Zanesville to the late Joseph and Goldie (Reed) Fitzgerald. She was a 1963 graduate of John Glenn High School in New Concord. On March 5, 1971, she married Richard P. Miller, who preceded her in death on April 13, 1995.

Cathy was an avid collector of glassware, jewelry, and loved music, especially Elvis. She enjoyed spending time with neighbors and close friends, and loved her church families in Wooster and Coshocton.

She is survived by two sons, Rusty (Sallie) Gates of Warsaw, and Jeffrey (Lori) Gates of New Concord; two daughters, Tina Wiesner of Coshocton, and Jodi Miller of Coshocton; her grandchildren, Andrew (Taylor) Gates of West Lafayette, Kamryn Wiesner of Columbus, Sheridan Wiesner of Coshocton, Ava Gates of New Concord, and Shahmeer Saeed of Coshocton; two great-grandchildren, Avery Gates and Amelia “Rosie” Gates; several nieces and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Cecil Cain of Duncan Falls.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Cain; brother, Donnie Fitzgerald; and an infant sister.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Ken Smailes officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, Dec. 27th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, as well as one hour prior to service time on Wednesday. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
