CBHC planning recovery celebration

| September 18, 2019

COSHOCTON – September is a month set aside nationally to promote and celebrate recovery from substance use disorders. Coshocton Behavioral Health Choices is proud to celebrate this event locally with the public, those in recovery, those who know someone in recovery, or those who are hoping to obtain recovery. The event will celebrate the personal successes of all of those in our communities.

On Saturday, Sept. 21 from 6 p.m. to sunset, the Recovery Alumni Group of CBHC will host a Celebration of Recovery with music, dancing, treats, and games for the entire family. The event will take place at the Coshocton Courthouse lawn so bring a lawn chair or blanket and plan to celebrate those who have made huge choices to impact their lives for the better, living free of substances. The evening will conclude with a recovery countdown, celebrating the recovery timeline of those in recovery, from one day to 50 years and more.  A progressive candlelight ceremony will be held to celebrate those who have made positive choices and have found recovery to be beautiful.
