CCBDD offering dance classes
Coshocton County Board of DD is offering dance classes for all abilities on Monday afternoons from 4-5 p.m. The classes are held at RHDD on Chestnut Street (the former Washington Elementary School). Classes will be held every Monday through the summer.
The classes are being taught by Crimzen Christmas, Miss Cuyahoga Valley 2022. The classes will be very relaxed and fun for everyone of all ability levels. Christmas has been dancing for 15 years and has experience with many types of dancing.
Angela Higby, an SSA with the county board, said, “This all started from brainstorming creative ways to encourage healthy living. Dance is a fun way to be physically active, but it’s so much more than that. Music and dancing make people feel good. It’s a social experience that connects us.”
“Regardless of your ability level, anyone can benefit from music and dancing. Not all of us jump for joy when we think about exercising, but most people like the idea of having fun – and fun is what we had.”
“Crimzen is the perfect person to lead this dance class and we are very thankful that she is sharing her love of dance with us.”
RSVP’s are preferred. Call or text Higby at 740-502-1052. Enter the building through the gym doors off of the parking lot.
