CCCTA to fill vacant Main Street office

| April 29, 2014

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton County Coordinated Transportation Agency (CCCTA) will move Friday, May 9, to the ground floor offices at 401 Main St., previously occupied by the Coshocton Chamber of Commerce and the Coshocton Convention & Visitors Bureau.

As a result, CCCTA will be closed and the agency telephones will be silenced that day. Transportation appointments for Monday, May 12 should be made on or before Tuesday, May 6 and pick-up times will be available from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 8. CCCTA Director Tracy Haines emphasized that drivers will retain their regular routes and schedules on Friday, May 9.

The move is necessary because of the gradual growth of CCCTA, which was initiated in the county in 2002 as a local mobility management project of the Ohio Department of Transportation. The agency largely specializes in transportation of county residents who are developmentally disabled, senior citizens, low-income, handicapped persons or those who otherwise qualify for Medicaid coverage.
