DSC_0029COSHOCTON – The Coshocton Christian School celebrated its 2015-16 basketball season with a pep rally on Feb. 26. Both the girls and boys teams were honored, games of Hungry, Hungry Hippo using real people were enjoyed by all and special cheerleaders, Principal Stan Zurowski and teacher Noah Gallagher got the students and staff pumped up. The girls also got the trophy they recently received for being the most Christ like at a tournament they played in. “That says a lot for our girls,” said Kyle Dunfee, who coaches the boys, but announced both teams at the pep rally. “Win or lose, we have fun and glorify our Christ.” Pictured with the trophy the girls received are members of the team, Jenna Smith, Macy Hill and Charity Treat.

I started my journalism career in 2002 with a daily newspaper chain. After various stops with them, I am happy to be back home! I graduated from Coshocton High School in 1998 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2002 from Walsh University. I also earned several awards while working for daily papers, including being honored by Coshocton County’s veterans for the stories I wrote about them. I am honored and ready to once again shine a positive light on Coshocton County. I also am the proud mother of a little girl named Sophia!
