Cemetery cleanups announced

COSHOCTON COUNTY – Dates for the following cemetery cleanups have been announced:

– Plainfield Cemetery Cleanup: Linton Township Trustees are asking that all winter grave decorations be removed from the Plainfield Cemetery by April 1 so that the trustees might prepare for spring and summer.

– Canal Lewisville Cemetery Cleanup: Spring cleanup will start Monday, April 4. Anyone wishing to save grave blankets, wreaths or other items must have them removed by Sunday, April 3. At that time all decorations will be removed and discarded. New items may be placed on graves after Saturday, April 9.

– Cemetery Clean-up: The Coshocton City Mayor’s Office announced that the annual spring clean-up at South Lawn, Oak Ridge and Roscoe cemeteries will begin on Monday, April 4. Anyone wishing to save grave blankets, wreaths or other miscellaneous items must remove them by Sunday, April 3. New wreaths, grave blankets, etc. may be placed on graves after Saturday, April 9.
