Changes made to county recycling program

| January 11, 2023

Due to new changes in service providers, the acceptable recyclables in Coshocton County bins have changed. The 12 county drop sites are now accepting: Plastics #1 and #2; brown and clear glass; aluminum cans; steel cans; corrugated cardboard; and paper products (newspaper, office paper, magazines, pasteboard, etc.)

The big change is the switch from all plastics to only plastics #1 and #2 and from all glass to only brown and clear glass.

County Recycling Trailers are located at: Bakersville (59469 CR 2, next to the township garage); Canal Lewisville (county maintenance building, 23220 SR 621); Conesville (508 Franklin Avenue, behind the village council hall); Fresno (near township garage off Township Road 1045); Nellie (Second Street, next to the community center); New Guilford (32531 SR 541, Perry Township); Plainfield (Main Street/Park Avenue, near the picnic shelter); Warsaw (River View Community Park, past the swimming pool, near the picnic shelters); Tiverton (SR 206/ CR 20, Tiverton Township); Tuscarawas Township (alley between Cedar and Cherry Streets by fenced township storage area); West Carlisle (Pike Township Hall); and West Lafayette (200 East Railroad Street).
