Charges filed against two residents after drug raid

COSHOCTON – On March 28, at approximately 12:21 p.m., the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office SRT and detectives executed a search warrant at a local motel in the 700 block of Main Street in the City of Coshocton. Four adults, two males and two females, were taken into custody without incident. Also taken in the search warrant were drugs, drug-related items and cash.

Due to the close proximity, a local school and child care facility were put on lock down for a short period of time.

On March 29, Travis J. Brewer, 27 years old and Brian C. Duty, 25 years old, both from the Coshocton area, were charged with aggravated trafficking in drugs, a felony of the second degree. The two females were released from custody pending the ongoing investigation.

Additional charges may result after the case has been reviewed by the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

Assisting the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office with this investigation is the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
