Charges made in child pornography case

On Dec. 4, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit (SVU) began an investigation into child pornography.

On Dec. 6, detectives took custody of 55-year-old Michael A. Jacob of Coshocton. On Dec. 7, he was formally charged with pandering, a fourth degree felony. More charges are anticipated after the review from the Coshocton County Prosecutors Office.

Assisting with the investigation was Coshocton County Job and Family Services and the Coshocton County Prosecutors Office.
