Charles Dewford “Chuck” Summers

Summers CharlesCharles Dewford “Chuck” Summers, 59, of Warsaw passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at his home in Warsaw following a sudden illness.

Born November 23, 1953 in Mt.Vernon, he was the son of the late Earl Hankley Summers, Sr. and Hattie Helen (Hagenbaugh) Summers-Ehasz.

He was a 1972 graduate of CoshoctonHigh School and had been a truck driver for Headwaters for several years before becoming disabled.

Chuck will be remembered as an outdoors man loving to camp, fish, canoe, and was proud of his family including his dog Boris.

Surviving are his special friend of seventeen years Pam S. Baker of Warsaw; two sons Jeremiah J. Summers of Warsaw, Justin E. Summers of Columbus; two step-sons Tim Phillips of Warsaw, Shane Phillips of Coshocton; three grandchildren Ariana Summers, Gavin Summers, Aiden Summers; step granddaughter Nevaeh Phillips; brother Earl H. “Hank” (Linda) Summers; two sisters Ginnie Kiser, Janie (Andy) Brown all of Coshocton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by a brother Roger Summers.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, January 7, 2012 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton. 

 To honor Chuck’s request, he will be cremated.
