Charles Edward “Chuck” Wright
Charles Edward “Chuck” Wright, 75, passed from this life and entered with great joy into the presence of Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Altercare in Coshocton.
He was born Dec. 21, 1948 in Coshocton to the late Charles Albert and Evangeline Rose (Finnell) Wright.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dee (Gibbs) Wright, whom he married March 1, 1979; two daughters, Annette (Larry) Lower of Coshocton, and Brittany (Rich) Amore of New Albany; two sons, Charlie Wright of Warsaw, and Casey (Piyarat) Wright of Coshocton; twelve grandchildren, Devin (Kayla) Luce, Derrek (Jessica) Luce, Danielle (Jarrod) Higby, & Justina Luce, Morgan & Matthew Amore, Avington, Elyn, & Burkley Wright, and Psalm, Dylan, & Tai Wright; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Jennifer Smailes of Coshocton; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends (including his hunting buddies).
Chuck loved Jesus, his family, working, hunting, and fishing. His family has sweet memories of his love of beagle dogs, mushroom hunting, picking berries, swinging a paint brush, and helping in the garden. His strong work ethic was an example to all of us. So was his soft heart and great love for us. He cried easily both at church with hands lifted in worship and at home when family gathered together. “I have been so blessed,” are words he would often say through tears surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. We were the ones truly blessed by him.
A Celebration of Chuck’s Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2024 at the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle, 23891 Airport Rd. Coshocton, OH 43812, with Chris Cutshall officiating. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery in Warsaw. Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements.
