Chuck Haendiges Paper PictureCONESVILLE – Charles J. “Chuck” Haendiges, 76, of Conesville, passed away at his home on Monday March 6, 2017.

Chuck was born in Wellington, Ohio on March 4, 1941 to the late Charles and Francis (Cooper) Haendiges.

He served four years in the US Navy, was a sixty year member of the Coshocton Moose Lodge and a member of the Coshocton Eagles.  Chuck was a talented carpenter, and enjoyed farming and hunting throughout his life.  For many years, he owned and operated his own heavy equipment maintenance company in several locations before becoming a heavy equipment operator.

Chuck is survived by his devoted wife of fifty four years Carol A. (Tremmel) Haendiges; loving children son Michael D. Haendiges of Conesville and daughter Cathy (Jeffrey) Schmidt of Trinway; two grandchildren Chaz King and Jackie Mull; one great grandchild Chaz Mull.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Cheryl King.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday March 9, 2017 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 6:00 PM with Pastor Joel Mason officiating.  Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will also be performing military honors at 6:00 PM.  A cremation will take place after the funeral services.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Central Ohio Hospice, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
