Chicken barbecue and tractor pull planned
The Bakersville Volunteer Fire Department will have a chicken barbecue on Saturday, June 18, at the Bakersville Community Park, State Route 751 in Bakersville.
Serving starts at 4 p.m. The menu includes: Half chicken, applesauce, potato salad, drink, and dessert. There also will be a dead weight tractor pull hosted by the Bakersville Ohio Tractor Pullers Association. Weigh in starts at 8 a.m. and the pull starts at 9 a.m. For more information on the pull, call Chris at 740-502-8254. Breakfast will be served from 7-10 a.m. A lunch stand will be provided by the Progressive Valley 4-H Club.
