Chocolate Extravaganza raises money for Pomerene Center

| February 16, 2015

Approximately 70 bakers gathered at the Coshocton County Career Center on Saturday, Feb. 14 with their finest chocolate creations ready to serve. Despite the snowy weather and the cold, the 23rd annual Chocolate Extravaganza was a success as residents lined up with trays anticipating celebrating Valentine’s Day with the delicious taste of chocolate. The Chocolate Extravaganza has become a traditional community event for many and money goes to benefit the Pomerene Center. “We can’t do anything without being able to fund it,” said Anne Cornell, director of the Pomerene Center. “This helps get the word out about who we are and what we do.” In addition to the chocolate, Samantha Servais and Donovan Rice provided musical entertainment.
