Chris Pugh

                PughDANVILLE- Christopher Thomas “Chris” Pugh, 44, of Mickley Rd., died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 at his residence.

He was born Feb. 11, 1969 in Grove City to Larry and Carol (Scoles) Pugh.  He was employed as an HVAC technician.  Chris lived to provide for his family and to be the “go-to guy” for anyone in need.  He often said, “I don’t need anything, as long as I have my family.” He left a mark on all those he met, and he will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Brenda (Durbin) Pugh of Danville, whom he married on June 8, 1991, four children; Molly Pugh of the home, Brandon Pugh of Columbus, Lance Smith of the home, and Derek Smith of Chapel Hill, NC, his mother, Carol Pugh of Grove City, a brother, John Pugh of Columbus, two sisters; Melissa Pugh of Columbus, and Kim (Patrick)Oswald of Las Vegas, NV, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Pugh, his father-in-law, Frederick J. Durbin, and an aunt, Maxine Reeves.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at the St. Luke Catholic Church Community Center, with Father Victor Wesolowski officiating.  Visitation is two hours prior to service time at the center.  The Fischer Funeral Home in Danville is handling arrangements.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
