Saturday, Dec. 3 will be a busy day in West Lafayette with a breakfast buffet, a parade and a craft show.

Dave Rogers of the chamber of commerce said the West Lafayette Lions Club and the Blue Ridge 4-H Club are teaming up to hold a breakfast buffet. The breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. and will go until 10 a.m. at the West Lafayette United Methodist Church.

The meal is all you can eat and will include pancakes, French toast, sausage, scrambled eggs, orange juice and coffee. Adults are $10, children under 10 are $5 and children under 2 are free.

The West Lafayette Christmas parade will begin lining up behind the Ridgewood Middle School at noon and no registration is needed. “If you want to be in the parade, just come,” said Rogers. The parade will begin at 12:30 p.m. this year. It will travel on Oak Street to Russell Avenue to SR 93 and turn right onto SR 751.  It will end at the Baptist Church.

Also on that day, the 34th Annual Christmas in the Village Craft Show will be held at Ridgewood High School. This event is sponsored by Club Aries of West Lafayette. The craft show will be 9 a.m. 2 p.m. and everyone is asked to use the front door of the high school.

Reservations for space at the craft show will be accepted until Saturday, Nov. 26 and the cost is $15.
