Christmas Magic in Lights planned at fairgrounds
A favorite Christmas activity is returning for the fourth year. Christmas Magic in Lights will be held Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds. The drive – thru display will begin at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m.
Woodward Wells, one of the organizers of the event, said that the drive-thru is by donation and all money collected will be donated to Coshocton community outreach organizations. “We gave out $3,000 last year and had between 1,000 and 1,200 cars.” She said last year there were 30 displays.
Groups, businesses, organizations and individuals are encouraged to set up displays of lights and inflatable decorations. Applications will be accepted until Friday, Nov. 24. Decorations may be set up anytime on Friday, Dec. 1 or between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday.
