CHS falls to Indian Valley

COSHOCTON – On Sept. 7, at Indian Valley High School, the Coshocton Lady Redskins Volleyball team lost a hard-fought five-set match against the Indian Valley Braves. The varsity scores were: 18-25, 15-25, 25-18, 25-22, and 5-15.

Coshocton was led by: Kindall Shaw, 12 kills and 17 digs; Morgan Bryant, eight kills and 13 digs; Hailey Helter, six kills, 13 digs, three blocks, and an ace serve; Taylor Moats, three aces; and Jalynn West, 32 assists.

Coshocton’s JV was victorious vs. Indian Valley in three very close games, 26-24, 24-26, and 25-22. Leaders for Coshocton were: Ella Bible, eight kills and Alison Cox, 19 assists and three aces.

On Sept. 10 at Zanesville High School, the Coshocton Lady Redskins Volleyball team picked up a straight set victory over host Zanesville by scores of: 25-14, 25-7, and 25-12.

Leaders for Coshocton were: Morgan Bryant – 13 kills and seven digs; Belle Miller – five kills;

Taylor Moats – six aces; Kindall Shaw – five aces; and Jalynn West – 19 assists and two aces.

Coshocton’s JV was victorious vs. Zanesville in straight sets, 25-9 and 25-7. Leaders for Coshocton were: Ella Bible – five kills and four aces; Lexi Williams – three kills and two aces; and Addison Gordon – seven aces.
