CHS girls swim to second place
The Janet Jones Mulligan Natatorium hosted the Muskingum Valley League Championship. Overall, the CHS girls team finished second and the boys team finished fifth.
Scoring points individually for the CHS girls were Kendal Jackson, third 200 Free (2:53.53) and sixth 100 Fr (1:19.81). Gabriella Wesney, seventh 200 IM (3:22.98) and fifth 100 Fly (1:31.17). Sophia McFadden, second 50 Free (31.01) and third 100 free (1:11.57). Chloe Hall, fourth in both the 50 Free (32.96) and 100 free (1:13.84). Cady Jackson, sixth 50 Free (33.84) and fifth 100 Free (1:18.07). Autumn Jones, third 100 Back (1:22.93) and Ella Baylor, third 100 Breast (1:33.82).
CHS girls 200 Medley Relay consisting of Autumn Jones, Ella Baylor, Cady Jackson, and Chloe Hall, finished second (2:29.79). The 200 Free Relay of Ella Baylor, Autumn Jones, Gabriella Wesney, Sophia McFadden finished second (2:10.06). The 400 free relay of Gabriella Wesney, Ella Baylor, Autumn Jones, and Sophia McFadden placed second (4:58.07).
Finishing overall individually for the CHS boys were Connor McCabe, third 50 Free (28.86) and fifth 100 Free (1:05.88).
