CHS present ‘James and the Giant Peach’ musical
Coshocton High School’s 2024 Theatre Club will be presenting the musical “James and the Giant Peach” on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. Both shows will begin at 8 p.m. in the high school’s McKinley Auditorium.
The musical is based on the Roald Dahl book by the same name. Words and music are by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
Kris Hardesty, director of the theatre club, said there are about 40 students involved in putting on the play. “Many are junior high and this is the first time they have been in a musical. I’m excited so many are trying something new.”
Hardesty said they chose this play because, “We love the music. It’s some of the most fun music we have ever done and we love it.”
Tickets are available at the door and doors will open one hour before show time. Adult tickets are $7 and student tickets are $5.
