CHS swimmers compete at sectional meet

Coshocton High School Swimming competed at the 2022 East District Sectional Meet at Steubenville High School on Feb. 12. CHS girls finished fifth out of 19 teams.

Scoring points individually were Kendal Jackson, 12th 200 Free (2:27.97) and 13th 500 Free (6:44.64); Sophia McFadden, eighth 50 Free (:27.33) and ninth 100 free (1:03.71); Chloe Hall, 14th in both 50 Free (:29.51) and 100 free (1:05.71); Gabriella Wesney, seventh 100 Fly (1:13.17); Autumn Jones, sixth 100 Back (1:10.95); Courtney Snyder, 14th 100 Back (1:17.60); and Ella Baylor 11th 100 Breast (1:22.45).

CHS girls 200 Medley Relay consisting of Autumn Jones (:33.08), Ella Baylor (:35.83), Gabriella Wesney (:31.36), and Sophia McFadden (:28.68) finished fifth (2:08.95). The 200 Free Relay of Ella Baylor (:28.37), Autumn Jones (:28.69), Chloe Hall (:29.02), Sophia McFadden (:27.95) finished fifth (1:54.03). The 400 free relay of Sophia McFadden (1:03.48), Autumn Jones (1:03.78), Gabriella Wesney (1:06.20), Ella Baylor (1:04.31) placed sixth (4:18.77).

Competing individually for the CHS boys were Connor McCabe, 14th 100 Free  (:58.72); Jayden Jones, 15th 100 Breast (1:20.11) and eighth 100 fly (1:02.97).
