On Thursday night, Nov. 3, at Heath High School the Coshocton Redskins Volleyball team, playing In their first Sweet 16 since 2006, came up just short against New Lexington in a tough four-set match by the scores of: 23-25, 25-20, 13-25, 19-25.

Leading the way for the ‘Skins, as they have done most of the year, was a trio of seniors playing in their final match for the Red and Black: Jalynn West, Lindsey Bryant and Miyah Davis.
West dished out 36 assists while running the CHS attack. She also added 11 digs and three solo blocks. Bryant led the offense with 20 kills, while Davis was the defensive leader with 28 digs.
Also figuring prominently were a pair of sophomores, Kenidi Jackson and Lacey Guthrie, who pounded eight and six kills respectively.
The Redskins finished their fine season with a record of 19-7.
The team would like to thank all the supporters who participated in the spirit send-off parade before the game and especially those who made the trip to Heath. The crowd was great, and it was awesome to see Redskin Nation come out in full force and display their Redskin Pride.
