Church hosts back to school fair

WARSAW – Anna Seiler and her family helped out at the back to school fair held Aug. 10 at New Beginnings Ministries in Warsaw. “This is the third year we’ve helped,” said Tammy Seiler, Anna’s mother. “I like connecting with people.” The 10th annual event provided free school supplies to children in kindergarten through 12th grade. The fair also offered free: Backpacks, lice checks, haircuts, hot dogs and popsicles, nail makeovers, and clothing. “I enjoy seeing the kids and watching some of them grow up,” said Debi Durr, who was helping give haircuts. “Some of them have been here all 10 years and you remember the families.” She helped initiate the fair. “Good help and a need in the community have helped keep it going,” she said.
