Clary Gardens offering pruning workshop

| March 8, 2016

COSHOCTON – Clary Gardens is hosting a pruning workshop. Come join Tracey Wiseman, local Master Gardener Volunteer and Lead Gardener at Clary Gardens, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 19. Don’t miss this chance to learn proper spring pruning techniques. Wiseman will also be discussing when to prune and will take all participants into the garden for hands-on training. Participants will be pruning many different varieties of plantings to give each person confidence in caring for his or her own landscape.

Participants are asked to bring gloves and pruners if available. Cost of the pruning workshop is a $10 donation to Clary Gardens. Call the garden at 740-622-6524 or e-mail events@clarygardens.org by Wednesday, March 16 to reserve your spot for this informative workshop.

Clary Gardens has free admission and is open to the public daily. Visitors are always welcome to take a self-guided tour. Brochures/maps are available in the parking areas. Take a stroll through the garden’s half-mile woodland trail or bring a blanket for picnicking in the outdoor amphitheater.

Clary Gardens is located at 588 W. Chestnut St., just past Roscoe Village on State Route 541 West. For information about Clary Gardens or the pruning workshop on March 19, visit www.clarygardens.org.
