Clothes distribution set for June 27

| June 18, 2020

The Third annual Community Clothing Drive will be distributing clothes to anyone in need from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 27 at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds. Signs will be posted. Clothing of all sizes will be available and will be given away for free. It is asked that you wear a mask if possible and observe social distancing practices.

This drive is organized by Jade Hasseman. It was started three years ago, while Hasseman was a student at CHS. She saw a need at the school and worked to find donations to help her fellow students. It has grown each year. Due to the COVID, she was not able to have it during the school year, so she has rented the fairgrounds to offer these donations.  The donations of clothing came from community members as well as a clothing supplier in Michigan that works with Hasseman Marketing that donated three pallets of garments for the event.  “The support we have received for this is overwhelming,” said Hasseman.
