CodeRED mass notification test announced
COSHOCTON – The Coshocton County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will be launching a CodeRED Test All Call on Friday, April 8, at 11:30 a.m. All citizens who have registered phone numbers in the CodeRED database will receive calls.
If you receive a call from CodeRED on Friday, April 8, at 11:30 a.m. there is no action needed on your part as this is only a test.
Those who have not registered are encouraged to do so by visiting www.coshoctonema.com and clicking the CodeRED Weather Warning logo.
The CodeRED mass notification service is used by local public safety agencies to notify citizens during emergency situations such as severe weather, water boil alerts, chemical emergencies etc.
CodeRED is a product of Emergency Communications Network LLC and is brought to you at no cost by The Coshocton County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office and the Coshocton County Board of Commissioners.
