Coffee with A Doc will feature Dr. Kelley
Coshocton Public Health District will present Coffee with A Doc, on Monday, Jan. 13, featuring Dr. Stephanie Kelley.
The event topic for January is “Healing Chronic Pain: Muscle, Joint and Spine.” The event is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Rust Décor, located at 341 Main St. in Coshocton. Parking is available in front of the store and along Main Street. This event is free with no registration required. A free black coffee drip will be provided by Rust Décor and snacks will also be made available to those in attendance.
Dr. Kelley has been a physical therapist since graduating from The Ohio State in 1990. She has a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, a PhD in Education, and is Board Certified in Orthopedics and Hatha Yoga. She taught for many years in physical therapy programs around the state of Ohio, and is currently practicing at Coshocton Regional Medical Center. Inspired by her own healing story, Dr. Kelly uses a mind-body approach by offering yoga classes to people who are suffering from chronic pain. Her services are accessed with a physician referral or by joining the therapeutic wellness program offered by the rehabilitation department at the hospital.
It is the mission, at Coshocton Public Health, to ensure equitable access to care, prevent diseases, promote healthy behaviors and protect the well-being and health environment for all community members. By offering this event each month, staff is gaining insight to what is truly needed by the adult population in Coshocton County.
