Collin Isaiah Shontz

Collin Isaiah Shontz, 15, of Coshocton passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, after injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Collin was born in Dover, Ohio on August 9, 2007, to Wesley E. Shontz Sr. and Shannon R. (Torch) Shontz who survive.

He was currently a freshman at River View High School where he was involved in the River View Marching Band, baseball and basketball.  Collin was also a member of Keene Kountry Kids 4-H and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  Collin loved spending time with his family, friends, all Cleveland sports, especially the Cleveland Cavs, and playing video games with his friends. He will be greatly missed by all.

Collin is survived by his father Wesley E. Shontz Sr. and mother Shannon R. Shontz both of Coshocton; brother Xavier Shontz; sister Alyssa Shontz; grandparents Tom and Pam Gartrell of Strasburg, OH; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Susan Carr and brother Wesley E. Shontz Jr.

Friends called at New Pointe Community Church, 23801 CR 621, Coshocton on Tuesday December 27, 2022, from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service at the church.  Funeral services for both Collin and his bother Wesley were on Wednesday at 11:00 AM.

Interment followed in Canal Lewisville Cemetery.
